Kroger is the largest grocery chain in the United States with revenue of $100 billion in 2018 . Kroger is also one of the largest employers in the country with 220,000 associates working at more than 2,500 stores and distribution centers across 25 states. Kroger’s success stems from a strong foundation established by its founder, George W. Childs. As a 19-year-old college student, George Childs began selling produce from his father’s store in Cincinnati, Ohio. Fast forward to today and George W. Childs Company Limited is known as Kroger now. Kroger has become a household name for being one of the most reliable grocery chains in America because it continuously invests to grow its business and meet changing customer demands. Therefore, they look for a high quality supply chain that has a long history of delivering good products. Fairbanks Park

Decided to visit Fairbanks Park today here in Terre Haute, Indiana as I wait to hear back about a position with Great Dane. The agency Aegis Worldwide hadn’t returned my call from yesterday letting them know I was here. Started to get a little anxious and so I had gone for a little walk to see what this park was like. The Wabash River borders one side and makes me think of Huckleberry Finn. It’s amazing how wide the river is. Must be pretty deep too as to how still it looks. The park itself is pretty big from what I can see from google maps.

Regarding SCOTUS Decision On Roe V. Wade

I find it disgusting and distasteful that the justices at SCOTUS overturned the Roe v Wade ideal. It takes away from the foundation of our country and deprives justice for those who ultimately decide their own fate. As well, it takes an option away from those who could truly use it, saying to the world that life and health and a person’s own sentience don’t matter.

The religious paradigm shows it has no taste for the individual, a disgust for women, and that it has no true regard for the human condition. I begin to wonder what they would do if one of their mistresses became pregnant with their child(ren).

Moving Truck Finally Arrived

Last night the moving truck had at long last arrived. Initially, they had said they would arrive yesterday morning but ended up showing at around 10pm. When the 2 people were getting our stuff out of the trailer, it became apparent that the 3 who packed everything in the beginning weren’t too careful..

Glass kitchen items weren’t properly wrapped and luckily weren’t damaged. Along with that though, heavy boxes had been placed on light boxes which is a no no in any industry.

A bad review is definitely in order.

Still Waiting for the Truck to Arrive

Not sure what is taking the truck so long to arrive. Think they were supposed to call when they’re close or something. Just wish at this point they’d at least give an idea or an update as to where they’re at.

Sunday is my 1st day at the new store with the same schedule from the last store. It’s a bigger store than my last and with a produce section, auto section, and bit more of a selection in similar areas. Area layout is a little confusing, but I’m sure it won’t take long to get used to.
